Last Minute Getaway

I was whisked away to the coast for a weekend getaway which was perfect after my bubble bath post. :) I had so much fun! It had been so long since my feet met the coastal waters of Oregon. So, like that Sea Cottage gal and her cute feet...I decided to take a couple of photos of my own feet. :)

Before putting on my rubber boots...

Putting on my rubber boots and searching for shells...

Doggy paw prints in the sand...

Sea spray...

Seagulls just hangin' around...

Peeking around the corner

Walking on the seashore...

It was a refreshing weekend. I have more to share so stay tuned! Hope you all had a great weekend. :)

How refreshing and relaxing! I find beaches and waves to be a magnet, just drawing me near. I can never get enough.

Nice! though I only live like 5 miles from the beach.... I just can't force myself to head there in the cold!!! I'm waiting for it to warm up a bit!

How lucky to go to the ocean. I have lived not to far from the ocean most of my life. I can't imagine what it must be like to live in a land locked state, and NEVER see it. Enjoy your week! Hugs, kathleen

Oh Yip-p-e-e!!!! The sea!!! And feet!!! Isn't it fun to take those pics with your scarf hanging down blowing beautiful in the breeze? I began taking pics of my feet because well, its just too darn hard to take good pics of myself, myself, you know what I mean? And then they came out cute, so it became my trademark.

That pic of rounding the corner is amazing...your beach is gorgeous. There really is no other place on earth that refreshes me like the sea.

Giggle - I like that video! It's like I'm walking there myself - except my legs aren't as skinny as yours - lol!

Must have been great to get away!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Oregon coast!!!! I live about 4 hours from there (6 when travelling with my 2 and 4 year old, lol) and have been wanting to go SO BADLY lately. I grew up going to Cannon Beach. Love.
Sigh.
Oh and by the way, that is MY dream fridge too! And the new yet 50's oven they make? WANT IT.

I love the Oregon coast. It is so much prettier that Washington. We go to Ft. Steven every mother's day and love it!
