Love Comes Softly

You know how much I adore Hallmark movies. Well, as usual, I'm a bit behind on my movie watching but I got this in my Netflix this week and finally had time to watch it. I have surmised that I am a hopeless romantic. Now where is that perfect man? Lol! Oh yea! In this movie! I love, love, loved this movie!! If you loved watching The Little House series this is right up your alley AND it was directed by Michael Landon, Jr. So wholesome, so sweet, so romantic....*sigh*. I am getting the second one in the series (yes, it's a series) and will probably have to buy them. They are based on a series of books by Janette Oke. I will be getting those as well so I can cuddle up in a corner with a cup of tea and read away. If you get the chance, I highly recommend this wonderful movie.

Here's a trailer I found on YouTube and you guessed it.....it made me cry. *sniffle*

Oh I love these movies too!! In fact, I'm a Hallmark channel junkie...and LOVED the entire Little House series!! I love them all!! Too bad there aren't more wholesome, good shows like this on the tv nowadays. People do need to get back to watching "everything that is lovely, good and pure", for we definitely are changed by what we watch. I'm going to check into that author. Thanks!

Hello Michelle ~I didn't want to miss the opportunity to come by and wish you a Happy Valentines Day.
Sometimes our lives can become very busy making it difficult to return visits. I truly appreciate you taking the time to not only visit but, especially for leaving me with your sweet comments.
It inspires my creativity. It's always a joy to share with you just as you do with me.

Here I thought it was our love for kitties that made us kindred spirits...now I find you like Hallmark movies too. That trailer alone made me misty. i will be looking for this one. My family teases me for watching Little House over and over. My hubby calls it "Little Outhouse." Funny man.
I hope you can stop by for some V-Day fun. I've posted a tutorial on Conversation Heart Petit fours.

Sweet Valentine Wishes,
Sara

I liked this series a lot (well maybe not the last one as much, but I did love the others). Glad you've discovered it!

Oh, yeah... I have seen this movie. It is so romantic, just like you said. And the male lead is to die for, I think (fanning self). The little girl is an excellent actress. And you know, I wouldn't doubt if this sort of thing actually did happen in the 'olden' days. A woman alone would need a man and he needed a helper for the home and his daughter. Wasn't that a tear-jerker when the little girl would lay out her mother's dress? Oh, man, the Kleenex I went through!

Oh so romantic, Michelle. I am more the drama, action thriller, murder-mystery type. But I do love a great romantic pic at times. I will give this one a look-see. Have a great weekned and happy Valentine's day!, Hugs, Kathleen
