has to be one of my favorite "monsters" and Gerard Butler did a great job in the movie! Yum! :) Don't forget to turn off my player to hear this beautiful music!
Hmmm..the other has to be Gary Oldman in Dracula. *sigh*

Gee, I didn't realize Gerard Butler was the 'Phantom' in this movie and I have the DVD.
My husband took me to see 'Phantom Of The Opera' on my birthday one year... it was amazing... especially when the chandelier dropped above the audience... truly a spectacular show to see in person.
And I agree with you, Gary Oldman was fabulous in Dracula.
I was very lucky to see this play twice. It was mesmerizing on stage. The movie had an amazing set. I wish the actors had been directed differently in certain parts. It is a favorite of mine too.

I'd never watched the entire thing (never been to the play). My sister did, and all I got was some lousy t-shirt. ;)
So, I have to tell you... I own the exact same candleabra set featured in your second picture. Those things are really tall and when lit, it lights the entire room... no electricity necessary. Bought those at Bombay Company a few years before they closed down.
