Mason Jar Love Affair

I've been captivated by the Mason jar lately. I've already stored some dried herbs in a few but I have a few jars left and I'm trying to decide what I'll do next. Hmmm.....a votive candle holder? Fill them with scented candle wax? Maybe some sand from the beach or seashells or perhaps some fresh citrus salt scrub? Fresh flowers? I guess we'll have to see. :)

Extremely cool! I store old buttons in some of mine and tootsie pops in one in my kitchen. A friend of mine stores chocolate melts...white in one and dark in the other. Great post!

I especially like the blue jars. I use them for vases and to store my beach glass.

Happy Fourth!

There is nothing like the good old mason jar is there? They are timeless, vintage, classic...and they remind me of my Grandmothers(including Great-grandmas).

I to have a love affair with jars and bottles. My sons find old milk bottles out behind our house. The barn out back was a dairy and the older generation says that they had the best milk shakes around.

I love mason jars and have quite a collection. I use them for candle holders, flower vases and holding all manner of things. I think I just have a thing for glass!

Michelle~they've sure come a long way from storing veggies and jams.
I love the effect of several candlelit jars hanging from the tree branches. It gives off such a nice romantic glow.
I like to gift baked goods in them.

Sweet wishes,
Sara
