Waiting for you Spring...

I think I'm done with winter.   It wasn't a bad one but it was still cold and dreary.    I love the coziness of it all but around January or February, I'm ready for Spring.

I did manage to grow a random sprig of leaf off of my sweet potato that I had forgotten about in the corner of the kitchen.   Don't ask me what I'm going to do with it.    I just love that SOMETHING is growing.

I wrote a little message for Spring.  I hope it gets the message.

Time to let this bird out of the cage.   I'm so ready for Spring!

Habib is even gazing out the window wondering what it would be like on the deck.  He's gone on the deck a few times since I adopted him.   Still don't trust him completely...but when he does get out there, I watch him like a hawk.

Perseus had a dose of sun today.   Nearly killed him.  He'll get used to it, I'm sure.

Hope you're all having a great weekend!

LOL...these kitties and the sun! Mine are roasting like chickens as we speak.

Love your sweet potato vine! I think I'm going to start some mint in the house too. I was thinking about getting one of those herb seed starter kits so by the time spring arrives I've got some herbs to plant in my containers. Maybe that would be fun for us gals to do one of these weekends!

Later gator!

Hope you have patience, because according to the calendar, we'll just have completed the first 1/3 of winter tomorrow. :) I'm usually like you, anxiously awaiting the warmer seasons, but I've tried very hard at changing my perspective because imho, life just passes way too quickly. I'm enjoying every single day more since I've decided to. Funny how that works! Winter will never be my favorite season, but after all this time, I'm learning to appreciate and enjoy more, every season for its' own beauty and individuality. I love your sprawled in the sunshine kitty!!! Now there's the way to enjoy winter my friend. :)

I so love cats and miss having one. I remember training Bump not to go outside. I would leave the door open..(no screen door) and when she would put just one paw on the door jam I would hit my hand with the newspaper..and by the time she was grown I could leave the doors open and she never ventured past the door sill. It was great..but of course I had her from 6 weeks on.
I miss her!
I am so happy you like my..um..decorating. I have no style..just early Goodwill I guess as nearly every single thing in my home is second hand. It's fun searching for new things for a change without breaking the bank.
Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving such a sweet comment.

Dear Michele,
Thank you for your recent comment at A Cats Golden Years, for it brought joy to me.
I have been keeping a secrete for one year and tomorrow, Friday January 24, I will reveal the burden I have been carrying all this time at Ms K's blog.
I wanted to write you directly in an eMail, but your comment was a non-reply and your eMail is not listed, for I would like very much to write you.
Wishing you all the best,
Egmont

We have had a tough Winter in New England and normally I love snow and even the cold but enough is enough. I want Spring now!

Your kitties looks happy. Hope they are all getting along. Your family has grown by leaps and bounds. Nice of you to give them all a good home.
