Great Depression Cooking with Clara

Have you all heard of Great Depression Cooking with Clara? If you haven't, oh how you must watch sweet little Clara. She is 93 years old and she is filmed cooking these dishes from the Depression. She also talks about what it was like living during the Great Depression. Her stories are amazing and they will make you chuckle. It was interesting to learn how they lived, how they rationed their food, how much food cost, what staple was cheapest for cooking during the Depression. She is the sweetest little lady and she truly warmed my heart! There is one recipe I think looks really delicious! I've attached the YouTube video for you to watch but I've also copied the link (above) to all her other videos. She is truly an amazing woman. :)

This is one of her recipes called The Poorman's Feast. I am actually going to try this one! Don't forget to turn off my music!

Enjoy!

What a sweet pea! My kids would love this meal - you can't beat potatoes, onions and hot dogs.

When I was a kid, my dad would make scrambled eggs with the sliced up hot dogs in them. It was good. And, I ain't 90.
