Although I still haven't learned to put the chains on and I can do that but I'm just too lazy. We got 8 inches of snow last night. It just wouldn't stop falling. It's been a long time since Portland, Oregon has seen snow like this although it makes for a perfect white Christmas. :) I'm just staying home today getting things ready for mom and dad.
This morning's breakfast, eggs, ham, onions and cheese...yummm....
The guest bedroom is ready, although Mocha and Quincy think they're the guests....
Guest bathroom....
The presents are wrapped....
And last but not least.....footprints in the sand....errrr...pawprints in the snow. :)
Off to start baking now!

Now that is Breakfast! I love your guest room! Do you know whenever I am sloppy this is what I get from you know who " you are no Chocolate and Marmalade Tea, She won't be sloppy like that"!!!!
Ha! Sonia, you can tell him I've been cleaning all weekend! I just got my car in the garage. I had to break off sheets of ice encasing the whole dang thing.
HI... just wanted to wish you a very Merry Christmas!!!!
I love the guest room and your cats seem to know that it's great too. You'll figure out the chains yet and it will all fall into place. Stay in and stay safe.
Thanks, Tracey!
I figured it will all fall into place once I figure it out. I'm not too much of a girlie girl that I couldn't do it. :) Right now just waiting for mom to help me decorate some sugar cookies I just baked. :)
Merry Christmas to you too, Chrissy! :)
You sure do prepare a beautiful space for your guests! You should open a B&B! :)

your guest room is gorgeous!
Looks like Portland is getting covered up in snow. We are hoping to get some here in Texas too. Your home looks very welcoming & pretty.

I can relate. We've had an ice storm and two snowstorms in 10 days! Driving is a little brutal but I still went out and just took my time. Your home looks beautiful- wish I had a guest bathroom to decorate. Have a wonderful White Christmas!
I hope you have a lovely holiday with your family. Its exciting to have company from out of town - and if they are family, it is a gift. Best Wishes.
I love the guest room, you have a knack for interior design. Looks like dark purple, love it. Purple is my favorite color and when I was in high school my room was done in purple. I still think about my velvet bed spread. lol
Michelle my dear, you WON the wings!! I blogged about it.
Please e-mail me with your info. so I can mail them out to you.
Congratulations!!

It sounds like you're having a wonderful time! So cozy and Christmasy! Give me a treadmill and some cinnamon rolls and I'd be set!
Hi Michelle! We have the same thing going on about 1.5 hrs up the street from ya! *winks* We might just see a white Christmas after all!*winks* I really hate driving in it, but it sure is lovely if you can hang out at home. Your guest room looks great! And that breakfast is just what I wish I was eating right now!! Vanna
mmm, yummy breakfast.
enjoy your company!
Hey I recognize that card on the gift...don't you just love that 'repose' stamp? I do. It's my favorite stamp. This year I used my Paris stamp to make cards for our gifts. So pretty. Your decorative touch in every room is lovely.
