Keke over at In My Sepia Studio has tagged me so I'm going to play along with this one! If you haven't visited Keke..she has the most whimsically, amazing blog. She really is a creative soul! Both her and her husband are, in fact! Swing on over and visit if you get the chance. :)

The deal is that I have to tell you TEN THINGS about me that you may not know and then tag TEN other's to do the same-
Here goes..

1. I don't like to watch the news too much because it depresses me. I'll go onto CNN to take quick look at headlines and see if it's going to be sunny that day. :)

2. I was the black sheep in my family. :)

3. I'm originally from Southern California, Orange County.

4. My favorite food are french fries.

5. I went to Germany and stayed in a castle on The Rhine for my honeymoon. Too bad the marriage didn't last. ;)

6. I was once a dog groomer for our family owned pet grooming business.

7. I skipped school once with my girlfriend to go ride horses. See, black sheep. I subsequently got terribly scolded for that. Lol!

8. I have Mitral Valve Prolapse.

9. I used to manage a Crabtree and Evelyn and proclaimed that was my favorite job, ever, because I came home smelling clean every night!

10. I saved a stray cat from being attacked by dogs (that were loose in a neighborhood). Literally, saw the cat running, grabbed it and threw it in the house....and the cat never left. Lol!

That was fun! If you want to play along I'm leaving this one to all who follow me!

Last but not least, it was a busy day at the shelter. I was so happy because I was able to hold that little Ewok of a kitten before she left. She is up for adoption this weekend and she has seven people in line but NOT before I could hold and cuddle her. She was so happy to finally be held...she purrred the instant I held her and she nuzzled her face into my neck as if she couldn't get close enough. I LOVE THAT! I know she will go to a good home. :)

Nice to know a bit more about you. #1 is me ... I barely pay attention to news. Frank wants Google News as his home page.

I love most anything fried, but rarely eat fried foods.

I always wanted to go to Germany.

I'm a dog person, but am getting a bit swayed towards cats. My in-laws have them and so does our son and his wife.

Frank was watching the Discovery Channel yesterday. It had sled dogs and they showed them remove the dew claws of the two-day old pups. Frank was saying... no, no... don't hurt them. It is best for them though because they are work dogs.

Frank wanted one of the pups. We had a part Malamute one time and she was a great family member.

I told Frank there wouldn't be a lot of room left in the travel trailer for us and a dog like that and it has a lot of fur which means a lot of grooming... he says.. I know, but I still want one :-)

Hopefully you have no symptoms with your heart condition.

Ewok is so cute...know she will have a good home.

Grandpa probably did miss me... I do believe in ghost.

I didn't think about checking my sister's ebay listing until late. She only sold one of the listings. She doesn't list as often as she used to... people aren't buying it seems.

If you click on the individual list in my post you can see the items she had listed... she might take an offer :-)

Have a great week, Michelle.

Congratulations on your award! I love riding horses so I don't know if I would be mad at my daughter or not. Is that bad?

Do you have to see the Doctor a lot for you heart?

I don't know if I would like to stay in a castle. Was it cold inside. I hate being cold.

Hi there Girlie girl!
I can't wait to go read your trail ride times next- but had to stop in and say...wow..we have alot in common! I loved all your little tidbits, and have questions now, for trail rides we shall take in the future.

I think I was too deep on my answers..they made me in a weirdo mood too...think since I got nominated by several peeps here..maybe I shall do it again~ and be the lighter hearted gal I am(want to be!).

What a drean job..Crabtree!!! My favorite store while we were dating..anythying from there would satisfy me! I have many of the "Tins"..I collected them..some horsey one too! My dad grew up in Orange...I got blamed for all trouble cause I was older than my friends..yet, it was THEY that corrupted me!
Sorry about your marriage...that honeymoon sounds dreamy though..more for the trail ride later...
Thanks for sharing!!!

Us black sheep are the best!! Independent spirits is another term for it. Okay, so you work for a cat shelter?? Is that right?? Because...I have 4 adorable kitties that I have been having zero luck in finding homes for. I bottle raised 3 of them and number 4 is not their sibling. Gorgeous kitties!! 2 of them are siamese with drop dead gorgeous blue eyes. One is quite unique in markings - mostly black with wide silver swirls and a prominent M on the forhead. #4 is your average everyday grey/black/white tabby. Will you help me find homes for them?? I would be willing to deliver them if it's not too far away. I live in Yamhill which is probably an hour from where West Linn is.
Love your horse!! I have Appaloosas too!!
