Ooh, la, la.....and another award!!

So....I neglected to mention one thing about last night. When Thea and I were walking around downtown, before the show, something caught our eyes as we turned a corner. My eyes grew big...I gasped! Thea tried holding onto me but the magnetic force picked my feet right up, pulling me its direction! I held onto Thea's purse.....trying not to let it suck me in....I grabbed her hair, her neck, anything! She screamed (from me hurting her) and she yelled, JUST LET IT SUCK YOU IN! I can't afford to lose any hair, LET GO! Lol! You guessed it...ANTHROPOLOGIE! It was the biggest one I had ever seen. It was like when Dorothy, saw the Emerald City...

I began running, skipping, whatever you wanna call it and hummed as I skipped along. Thea was right on my tail. And THIS is what came out of that little experience. :)

This is actually the back....don't you just love that sweet bow?

It's a bit wrinkled from being in the little bag but I was just too tired to iron before taking pictures. I have no patience whatsoever. Lol!

Adorable, huh? I couldn't resist. I try to avoid Anthropologie because of the prices...but I have to treat myself every now and then, right? And as they packaged it up for me I clicked my heels three times and said....there's no place like home. *sigh*

Also! AWARD ALERT!!

Sweet Lola and Nora awarded me the The Lemon Stand Award! We are new bloggers to each other and she and Lola have the most entertaining blog called the Johnson Diaries: Life on the Edge. Don't you love the name? If you haven't visited her blog yet, I suggest you do. Lola is the CUTEST PUPPY ever! She was a little sick recently so maybe even if you go by and send them good thoughts they would so appreciate it. THANK YOU LOLA AND NORA!!!!

I'm leaving this award to all who leave a comment on this post. Please, please pick this up! You all deserve the award. I feel bad when I have to pick only so many names.

Until tomorrow....

I LOVED your description upon your "Emerald City" discovery! I am that way. Usually conservative, but every now and then I see something, like this stunning lavender sequin bikini in Vitoria's Secret that was a must have this summer. Makes me feel like a movie star. :) The dress is awesome, the color gorgeous.

Adorable dress...so cute! I can imagine how you feel about Anthropologie. When I go into Home Goods (TJ MAXX) I can feel the adrenaline rush as my heart beats faster, and I become light headed. Isn't life great? Hugs, Kathleen

I got your note, yes I do have a tip,cut them and put them in no more than half and inch of water, when the wated dries up(about a week) they are dried and ready to go!! I learned that from a florist in Ireland a few summers ago and it really does work!! Talk to you soon,Chrissy

y'know, I have never actually been inside an anthropologie. I love the styles and everything I have seen from there, but I know I would have a heart attack if I ever did go in, and my husband would just kill over dead, so... I just sometimes window shop online. Maybe I should actually give it a try sometime, hu?

Lucky you--an Anthropologie store close by! I have to be content with drooling over the pages of their catalog... well...not actually drooling, but looking at the clothing longingly (sigh). But the prices---yikes!!! I love their stuff, it's so interesting!

Now, Michelle, just look at you!!!! It's been forever since I've visited, and I've got so much to look at! The dress is drop dead gorgeous...I love that store, but I usually buy from the clearance section! I don't think that I'm gonna find that dress there! Your dogs are sweeties! Great pics. Congrats on your awards..
Sending you sunshine and a beautiful Sunday,
