One For You and Three For Me

I went Christmas shopping tonight. It ended up being a three for one deal. For every one present I bought someone I had to buy three things for me. :( I couldn't help it! It was just terrible. It's been awhile since I've shopped so I had to treat myself for being good about not shopping. I have to tell you real quick about a blonde incident or would it be a senile moment? I was returning a pair of sweats that I bought awhile back (because my butt wouldn't fit in it...seems to be why I return things these days) and while at the counter to purchase something I turned away to take a look at a sweater on a rack while the cashier processed my return. I turned back and saw these adorable pair of pink sweats behind her on the counter and I said, ohmigosh, those are adorable, yea those sweats behind you! Can I see them? She gave me a funny look and I couldn't figure out why. Then she said....miss, those are the sweats you just returned. Would you like me to ring them up and put them back in the bag so you can come back again and return them again? I was so embarrassed. I could tell she wanted to laugh out loud. She held it in though. I couldn't resist buying this ornament tonight though (above). Yes, another ornament...but oh so *heavenly*. :)

HAHAHAHAHA! That's so funny! You remind me of someone . . . ummmmm -- ME! : D

Love the ornament. I would have scooped up several of those heavenly treasures. Can we see a pic of the whole tree? (Did you post it and I missed it -- oops?)

Thanks for laughing with me on this post, guys. :)

Teresa.....there is only one thing that saves me on my weight thing. I'm tall! 5'9, thanks to dad who was 6'3.

Deb, I actually did have a picture of the whole (small) tree in one of my previous posts entitled "Pink Saturday and I've Been Tagged" on my November 29th post. :)

That is so funny! I have definitely had moments like that too. I can also understand the 3 for me & 1 for you problem. It is hard when I am shopping to not find really great things for me too.

That story was so funny! Tis the season to be overwhelmed and therefore a little ditzy!

I gave a Barnes and Noble cashier my medical insurance card instead of my debit card the other day. Well they're both the same color!

Michelle,

You made me laugh out loud. I'm in the same boat. I keep finding things for me, too.

I don't know what it is with holiday shopping but me too, i have had my moments this past week.

I brought my shopping trolley to the store with my previously purchased two chocolate bars still in there which I had forgotten take out at home the few days before. So there I was at the checkout alongside bag inspection and to avoid being accused for shoplifting, I just repaid for my items over again. $$$ ouch.

It is one thing I don't like about entering my 40's, not fitting into my jeans like I used too. boo hoo. Sweatpants I still fit into because I've always bought them way too big, I like them baggy.

I donated some coats today. smile, wink!

Cold Mountain is such a romantic movie and perfect to watch in winter. YOu really should see it!

So funny about the pink sweats.
Sounds like you were over excited since you had to go cold turkey from shopping. I know the feeling ha ha!
Have a very Merry Christmas!
