Martha Stewart's Soft and Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies.

Soft, heavenly, chewy, just what Michelle needed and full of yummy goodness! Enough said.

Checkout the pig back there trying to remind me what I might look like if I eat all the cookies. Lol!

Makes about 3 dozen

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 cup packed light-brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
2 large eggs
2 cups (about 12 ounces) semisweet and/or milk chocolate chips

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a small bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda; set aside. In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, combine the butter with both sugars; beat on medium speed until light and fluffy. Reduce speed to low; add the salt, vanilla, and eggs. Beat until well mixed, about 1 minute. Add flour mixture; mix until just combined. Stir in the chocolate chips.
Drop heaping tablespoon-size balls of dough about 2 inches apart on baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
Bake until cookies are golden around the edges, but still soft in the center, 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from oven, and let cool on baking sheet 1 to 2 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack, and let cool completely. Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature up to 1 week.
Enjoy!

Yumm!
I love all of her recipes!!
Hows Mocha today? I'm sorry you're going through this!
I don't know if this would help, but when my dogs get an upset tummy my vet said to give them cottags cheese mixed with plain white rice. Seems to help.

xo,

Hey Jen, thanks for the advice. I've got them on a protein rich diet now and we're going to see how that goes. Poor thing..her tummy is so screwed up from the antibiotics and new food. Ugh.

Dawn! Last night I actually did go out and get EVO for all of 'em. Definitely much better quality and high in protein and they love the food!! Thanks for being my cat advice lady. :) I can tell you take great care of yours!

Hey sis! They actually do kinda taste like Toll House but a little lighter and softer. They really are delicious! You should try them! I'm sure Paris and Tim would munch 'em up!

Everyone, you need to make these cookies so I'm not the only one getting fat! LOL!

Yummm! They look so delish!

I'm reading your posts out of order & was curious... Have you ever noticed getting a bad migraine the day after you've eaten a lot of chocolate? One of the worst migraines I ever had was after binging on chocolate. OUCH.

Those look fantastic! Great consistancy. Have everything but ch oc chips. If I've got 12 oz of choc in the house, I'm chopping it up and am totally making those today. x
