Christmas in July but the cherry wine will have to wait. Also, someone needs a time out!

Yes, you heard me right! I am going to celebrate Christmas in July with Just Add Glitter and Stir (my kindred spirit with pin up girls) because I think anytime is a good time for Christmas. :) If you want to join in swing on over to Glitter and sign on up. There will be holiday recipes, crafts, story telling, giveaways...and so much more! I can't wait! However.....

There will be no cherry wine :( At least that's what my foody couple friends Ilka and Paul are telling me. They are definitely preparing though! Checkout the 40 lbs of cherries hubby Paul picked all by himself from their ripe cherry trees to start making their homemade cherry wine. When she told me these were going to be gifts at Christmas, I insisted I wanted one. Aren't I a great friend? Insisting on gifts. Lol! I won't even tell you the other heavenly recipes they make. I keep telling them they need to open their own restaurant! I can tell you this. They LOVE bacon. Lol! I just love this picture.

And last but not least....SOMEONE needs a time out. Emma!!

Those cherries look fantastic. Sorry you have to wait until Christmas to try their wine.

Okay, I'm on board with the cherry wine, my hubby is on board with the bacon. What time should we be there?! :P

Meant to also say how beautiful the cherries are. Wine would be nice, but a cobbler would be better :-)

I did sleep last night, but my brain is slow to wake up in this cloudy, rainy weather :-)

Christmas in July sounds like fun. My sister and I had a Christmas in July party years ago.
We put a Christmas Tree on the patio and played Bing Crosby's
White Christmas album. It was fun!

Emma, Emma what are you in to now?
How can you discipline her? She is too cute!

Oh and thanks for calling me the perfect hostess. I love it!

This is my first time visiting your blog. Such fun! I love all those cherries. I've been making a plum liqueur the last couple years from the plums on our two trees. But alas, this year for some reason, no plums. So no plum liqueur :( I love Christmas recipes and crafts all year round so I'm going to go check out the site you mention here. Thanks for the reference. And it's great to meet you :)
