A Balmy Evening

Yes, can you believe it? It was almost 80 degrees today. This was definitely a special treat for the beautiful Northwest. There's a pond and a refreshing waterfall right below my deck and the frogs were singing at the top of their lungs tonight. :)

This evening the sunset created a haunting glow of orange in the living room....

So this was the perfect evening for a dinner like this...

And catching up on these....

With the TV playing A Long Hot Summer.....gotta love Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward....

And then I felt a craft coming on....

So I went into the garage and spray painted a few things to prep. :) Hope you all had a nice evening like me.

I could only hope for 80 degree weather.. I'm officially jealous! It rained and rained here yesterday. I am hoping the sun to come out today or at least by Thursday. I love how you spent your evening.. very relaxed and unhurried. Your home is very beautiful, and serene looking.. Enjoy your day..it's 5;30am here.. couldn't sleep anymore.

What a truly great evening! I can't believe we don't have the Peppermint flavour here - that's not fair: I love peppermint.

You painted such an evocative picture of a glorious evening, truly blissful. I never knew that Haagen Dasz did a peppermint bark flavour...wonder where I can get that one here in Holland ;).

Hope your Easter break is as lovely as your evening was.

OOOoooo~ What a PERFECT evening! My sweet baby kitty, Lucky, turns 8 years old today. I am going to get him some Hagen Daz to celebrate. He likes the Vanilla Swiss Almond best and lets me eat the almonds. Yes, sometimes I eat Hagen Daz for dinner....or lunch, or breakfast, or.....

Hi Michelle,
Sounds like a beautiful evening. My idea of a good time too. Have fun visiting your family. It's raining here in No. Ca right now, but I've heard it's supposed to clear by Friday. I love your living room, it's so cozy looking.
