What a Wonderful and Fulfilling Trip Home!

Hi everyone, back home! I have so much to show and tell. First, I wanted to say I had the most wonderful trip home, even though it was pretty short. It just so happened that my brother was home on this trip as well so that was a real treat for all of us to be together as a family. :) I flew into Orange County to spend one night with mom and step dad and see my brother and his significant other and the second night at my sister's to spend time with her, my niece and brother-in-law. We crammed everything in but it was fun! It's late and I'm tired but here are just a few highlights I'll go over later because I need to spend some lovey time with my babies. I think Quincy was expecting to see the other Michelle walk in the door and when he saw me his eyes got really big. Yea, bigger than they already are. LOL!

It was amazing how much we all fit in...from coloring eggs, baking, visiting together, visiting horses, shopping! I even have pretties to show you (stuff I bought and stuff mom bought me). I couldn't believe it all fit in my little suitcase. I felt sorry for any of the baggage people if they dared open it because they would have definitely needed someone to sit on the bag again to close it!

Coloring eggs with my niece...

Baking with sis and niece....

Visiting horses and seeing where my niece will start riding...

Antique shopping in San Juan Capistrano....

Shopping in Laguna Beach (and you didn't see this picture...not sure if I was supposed to take pics inside or not but I snuck some....

These are just a few sneak peeks! Aside from the scary ride into Orange County (turbulence was bad coming in it made everyone scream on the plane...I hate that) it was a perfect trip! More later! Time to visit with my babies and get some rest. Hope you all had a wonderful Easter too!

Michelle,

What a lovely and busy Easter you a have had, it looks like one to treasure. It is amazing how you get a lot of energy and spring out of such a short, but lovely get together.
I am glad you made it there and home safe ( planes are not my favourite places in the world, but they get you where you have to be).
Make sure you make up properly with the fur babies!

Michelle, I've got to tell you a story...It all started (this morning)with what seemed like an easy task, but soon would turn into a massive hunt! I wanted to find the picture of the cutest kitty that I had found in blog land. So...I opened my mail archives knowing full well I had received permission to use this "Let them eat cake" pic. I went through 100's of comments and couldn't find you or the photo! I started searching for the needle in the haystack and several hours latter...I gave up. Just by chance and determination, I started retracing steps, starring at blog rolls and scouring through your past post, finally finding you and Kitty. I'm a little worst for the wear, but here....
I bet you didn't know what a celebrity you'd created when taking that shot.

Sweet wishes,
Sara

P.S. the pictures in your side bar helped in jogging my memory!
