Hi Michelle-
My name is Jennifer MacIsaac and I work for the company Powderhouse Productions- we produce the TV show CATS 101 on Animal Planet! We are going to be featuring the Selkirk Rex breed on an upcoming segment of our show and are looking for a human interest story about the breed to highlight. We're hoping to find a Selkirk doing something unique or different and a great way to track down cool cats is through blogs!! I would love to chat with you more about your cats- please feel free to e-mail me at jmacisaac@powderhouse.net and I can give you a little bit more info about what we're looking for!you can check out our website at www.powderhouse.net for more info about our company or http://animal.discovery.com/tv/cats-101/ for more info about our show.
I emailed her so we will see if this is all real. I'm always skeptical about things in the beginning if they sound too good to be true. If it IS true wouldn't it be cool if Quincy became a star? I'll have to get him his own actor's chair with his name on it. Ha!
When I told Quincy about it he proceeded to just lay there....
Yea, I know I'm beautiful. It's getting a little old...but I guess if I have to do some tricks I'll try to lift my head.
Then this is the trick he performed....OH QUINCY!! Your manners!
You said you wanted a trick. :P

Quincy a star! Hopefully he won't develop an "cattitude". You would become a stage-Mom. Please keep us informed. Hugs, Kathleen
How cool!!
Quincy is already a star...but this would be really cool if you guys make it on the Animal Plane
Wow!
How exciting is that.
You can be the stage Mommy.
That's going to be so cool if it's true!
Sorry I haven't been here in a while. My RSS feed for your blog, for whatever crazy ass reason never loads right. You know I've had this problem before. So, I deleted you, closed it out, then reopened and re-added you. I hope it takes. Anywho, yes that is exciting. But please be careful what you sign up for. I can't tell you how many emails I get a day from people wanting me for this and that, and then the end result is they want a permanent link put on my website and I get nothing. I know I sound like such a debbie-downer here, but I'm just looking out for you is all kiddo. Just make sure it's an interview and it's all fun and that you don't have to give up something on your blog, you know what I mean, you're a smart cookie.
Sorry I haven't posted in a while...let's hope the rss feed takes this time.
michelle, quincy is hilarious!!!! i've never seen a cat so flexible haha i get skeptical about emails like that, too- you never know if it's spam or not.
thanks for you kind words about my break-up. it's tough not having your boyfriend tell you "your necklace is cute" or "your butt looks awesome in those jeans." haha
i don't know about you, michelle, but i always get back together with the boys i break up with!! haha i'm terrible. they'll always do something so nice and i just can't resist.
That is one beautiful cat!!! Oh, and when you get your deck looking good, can you come do mine!! Thanks, I 'll make you tea and bake for you, k??
Oh my darling Quincy (even though I can only love him from afar) might be a STAR??!! I always knew he has star qualities. 8)
And LOL @ what Melody said!
Hey Michelle...you are going to love the vintage pic I just posted...I thought of you when I found it.
What a beautiful cat!
Sending Good Luck for Quincy :)

He's so cute, he has curly hair?! I bet it is soooo soft!
Wow, this is amazing! I just borrowed a book about different cat breeds the other day from the library & it was very interesting to read about the Selkirk Rex. The book said that females are hard to get as the breed is so rare they're all needed for breeding. Your boy is a fine example of a Selkirk Rex!
