My Favorite Things Monday!

Sarah, of Everyday Elegance, has graciously invited me to participate in her new Favorite Things Monday fun! This is particularly good timing as I'm feeling down right now about a situation in my personal life. So I have to say sometimes I like to turn on good 'ol I Love Lucy. I love Lucille Ball and she always made me laugh on I Love Lucy. When I'm feeling down I just curl up in bed with my kitties and pop in my favorite Lucy DVD. In fact, this evening I didn't even have to pop in a DVD. It was on TV! Perfect timing, Lucy! So, I took a picture of my TV tonight. :)

They say laughter is the best medicine and I agree that there is
nothing like classic Lucy to cheer
a person up! :)

I used to watch Lucy with you, remember? Back in the good old days when all we had to do was listen to our parents and they'd take all the responsibility! lol

I'm sorry that you are feeling down, but I am glad that you are able to watch ILL. I have always loved that show, too. Isn't it great?

When I lived in LA, at one of my jobs, I worked with a man who was either her manager or ... it's been so long, I forget. But they were personal/business friends. Then, she died and he came to work for my company. He loved her.

Blessings,
Elizabeth

Hey sis!

Yea, I can never forget the shows that we watched together as kids. Let's see...I Love Lucy and The Brady Bunch were some of our favorites. Well, it taught us good lessons and how to be silly! :)

Lucy always makes me smile!
By the way--I live in a tiny hamlet outside of Lucy's birthplace and hometown! We have "Lucy and Desi Days" celebrations every Summer.
Blessings to You!

I always enjoyed Lucy. Everybody Loves Raymond is the show we watch over and over again now. We laugh every time we see it even though we've seen every episode multiple times.
