My First Show and Tell Friday!

Thank you so much, Kelli, for hosting Show and Tell. I think I got how it works now. At first I didn't! Ha!

This is my "Wishing Board". I bought this at an antique store about 3 years ago. It was, so I'm told, from an old home and part of the kitchen cupboards. The seller creatively turned it into a chalkboard which I thought was great! I write all my wishes (prayers) on this board. I can't tell you how many times my wishes were granted. This board is truly magical! I am never greedy in any of my requests. I typically ask for good health for friends, family and pets, success in a project or maybe something as simple as love and harmony to all. I am thinking of repainting it (and possibly naming it "The Magical Board"). What do you think? :)

What a cool way to remember to pray for others. God hears every prayer. Thank you for sharing your chalkboard. Kathi

Just reading through random blogs and found myself reading through all of your posts. Great stuff here! We have a lot in common :) I too am a cat lover (well all animals really), into crafts ( just started making Christmas gifts), and I really love tea!
I see you are reading Practical Magic. I just finished it this summer with some girlfriends for a book club. How do you like it so far?

Well, just wanted to say Hi and say that I enjoy your blog. Looking forward to reading more.

I think that is one great idea! I'm glad you found it. Now I'm wondering where I could put one just like it if I FOUND one!! Super.

Welcome to Show n Tell.

My show n tell is Halloween, solar lights since most all my visitors have been asking for some of my halloween decorations I've been setting up...and a set of kitchen linens that match my blog's header that I found! Come on by if you can find time...Happy Friday!

I love the board. I could use one too. Thanks for sharing it.

Writing all that on a chalkboard is smart! I've seen "focus boards" made out of other more permanent materials, your board is MUCH more workable long term! Cool!

I love both ideas, I have little note books all around for list of goals, wishes, grocery, ect. So I need the magical one to make all my little books go away.

Oh, your blog is so darling!! I love all the autumn colors.
Have a fun day!

I would so leave it alone. It's a karma thing...the board is granting wishes, don't insult it by changing it. Love it!

I think you're right, Gayle. :)
