Here's a quick project.
1. One 4" x 5" Artists Canvas
2. Starfish (that will fit canvas)
3. Craft Glue
4. Pink Acrylic Paint
5. White Acrylic Paint
6. Glitter
Paint your canvas with pink acrylic paint (or color of your choice). I had to put about three coats on my canvas to reach the desired color. On the last coat sprinkle glitter all over canvas. Paint your starfish white if it isn't already white. I had trouble finding a small one that was not orange. Once both the canvas and starfish are dry, glue starfish to canvas. That's it! I will make some more in the upcoming weeks and also attach ribbon to the back so I can hang them.
The tree is coming along beautifully! Here is another sneak peek.

oh Wow! it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas in your home! i love your starfish ornament idea- it's nice to bring the outside indoors, I am a big fan of ocean themed rooms.
Very beautiful crafts.
Great project! I'm wondering if I will put up the tree rinky-dink table-top tree at all this year... I didn't last year... we'll see.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Beautiful - I love it! I would totally buy this (since I am hopeless at any sort of craft other than knitting a scarf).

That looks beautiful and makes me want to start on my Christmas tree!
Oh your pink tree is too cute!
It looks like mine with the white starfish, except with pink bulbs and mine are aqua.
One day we plan to buy a white tree(like the one at Lowe's) and give the green to one of our kids. I think it will look much more sea cottageee then.
That is gorgeous!! Don't forget to check the links in the magazine!
