Chocolate Now!!!

This is what happens when mom has a stressful day at work and stresses because it's tax day....

Mom? Why do you have that crazy look on your face?

Leave her alone kid! It's the only way she knows how to de-stress but just stay clear of her until after she's had a bite of chocolate. She goes away for about 8 hours and sometimes comes home like this....

And like a mad woman I stirred and stirred and stirred 'til all the stress was gone!

Ahhhh....

And all was right with the world... except for Quincy's orange eyes.

Sweet dreams all....

Of course I'm behind in reading my friend's blogs...

I enjoyed catching up with you. I'm glad you had such a grand time on your visit home.

I think I need this chocolate recipe! Thanks for the smiles!

Aaaah, there is nothing like a bit of chocolate from time to time. Of course the stirring does wonders too! And stroking the fur babies of course.

Quincy has quite a glow going on. Chocolate in any form is good. We all need to find our own ways to de-stress, but I think Chocolate is universal (among ladies) Hugs, Kathleen

I could use a slice of that right about now. I awoke this morning to a few presents our dachshund had left me. Not exactly how I wanted to begin the day. Oh well...Thank God for Bissell.

LOL! Yes, that's right, everything is all better after a chocolate fix.
If you're so inclined try using a higher cacao chocolate next time, it makes you eat less chocolate because the cacao bean is stronger and that is what your body is truly craving: the higher cacao.

Ok, messed up my post: trying again...

Maybe it's Quincy's glowing eyes that made you feel better instead of the chocolate? ;D

I hope work is better today!

Like we really NEED an excuse for chocolate and cute kittys!! It is nice to have them when you do need them though. It is almost a perfect combination. Chocolate in mouth, kitty on lap!

You will all know my little secret for this recipe. I just opened a box of Ghiradelli chocolate brownies and whipped them up like mad! LOL! They are SOOOOO delicious and definitely calmed me down.

Hi Michelle,
I hope you're feeling better now after a little chocolate. Isn't it wonderful to come home to pets though. They're there for you whether you're in a grumpy or good mood. Love the photos, Quincy looked a little scared in that first one - so cute and then they're both cozy on the bed all de-stressed themselves!
Thank you for forwarding the Paul Potts video to me, I really enjoyed it.

It is amazing how chocolate makes everything all better. Good idea putting it in mini bread pans! Hope the stress is gone now.
