Trust Between Friends

As promised, here are just a few pictures from Saturday's horse ride. Ari and I are slowly but surely building trust with one another. I am so connected to him already. :)

Mocha was happy she got to go along for the ride this time!

You can't see me...I'm behind Ari but as you can see Mocha is over there looking up at me because I always give handouts to my furry friends. Lol!

My girlfriend Debbie with both Ari and Magic Man. She's a great rider. She will be competing in dressage riding very soon!

There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man.

~Winston Churchill~

P.S. I know this is probably a cheesy song to choose but I love this song. I used to tell my dad if I ever got a horse I would name him Wildfire (like every other kid that probably heard this song, ha!). :)

You are such an animal lover.. the animal world is very lucky to have you around. Great pictures. I envy you about riding..horses scare me very much. I am deathly afraid of them and couldn't even think about riding. Glad your getting out and enjoying yourself.. when you get ready to head home for Easter.. stay safe!

haha, I was wondering where this song was coming from!
you are so lucky to be able to go horse-riding! I've only been on a horse in zoos with restrictions. not as fun!

Hi Michelle...lucky you to go riding. I haven't been riding for about 10 years or so. I don't know why my sister is afraid of horses?? Looks like you had a great time! Hugs, Kathleen

I remember horse riding at a pony farm in England when I was a little girl. I felt a connection with the horse too - it's wonderful!
Chilli seems to be doing fine, I didn't see any litter box problems today. I'm still suspicious though and don't trust the peace. You asked if she's sensible and that really got me wondering. I actually don't know! I always thought Siena was the sensible one as she's fussy about food, the beta type, let's Chilli play instead of going for it herself... but now that I come to think about it...

Trust is essential with any living thing isn't it? I'm sorry if I didn't catch it earlier, but what type of horse is she? She looks part Morgan to me....
I have a Percheron named Jordan that I just adore.

Pretty horse! And Mocha has such a lovable face too.

Wildfire is a great name for a horse, even if you think every other kid wanted to name a horse that. ;)
