Getting the Onaments Out and I've Been Tagged!

It's time to get those ornaments out of the boxes and let them come alive! I'm still searching for that box. Go figure. Here are a few of my favorites! Once I find the other boxes I'll show more. :)

Also, I've been tagged by Emily at the Open Pantry. She has a great site and great recipes! She's encouraging me to post more things that I attempt to cook on my site. :) Anyway, it's the Seven Random Things Tag!

Here are the rules:

Link the person that tagged you and post the rules on your blog. Share 7 random or weird things about yourself. Tag 7 people at the end of your post and include links. Let each person know that they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog. Okay, so here goes!
1. I have a strange obsession about checking to make sure I've turned everything off before I leave home. No seriously, I will drive halfway up the block and have to go back and check again.
2. I have cable television but I seem to only watch one channel, The Food Network! I wonder if they have a package for that one channel?
3. I have an obsession with animals. I've been known to choose animals over a boyfriend.
4. I have a flutter in my heart (Mitral Valve Prolapse)
5. I love spoiling my niece. I send her a box of goodies...for almost every holiday since she lives in another state.
6. I wrote a 300 page romance novel (don't ask me to show you because I'm too embarrassed but damn happy I was able to write 300 pages worth of words!).
7. My favorite food is sushi! It should be, I'm half Japanese!
Okay, so I'm going to leave this tag open to anyone who wants to join in!
I'm off to see Twilight with two of my good friends. Have a great Saturday all!

Michelle,

Beautiful ornaments. Christmas really is coming soon.

You are one fascinating person. I say you should finish that book and get it published.

Yeah you, that is something to be proud of.

Happy Saturday!

Michelle,

I just recently bought the current issue of Romantic Homes. I, too, love the soft colors that they show. It gives one lots of decorating ideas.

Have a great week.

You are so sweet, your comment made my day!

I feel so out of it, I am just barely hearing about Twilight. If I had to choose a boyfriend or a yorkie puppy, I think I'd rather have a puppy lol

hey michelle,

i think i'm just a homebody!! it's nice to know you were, too. haha plus, i don't really enjoy the freezing cold weather at all. my hands look miserable because they are so cracked!! usually when i'm out, i think to myself "i'd rather be baking right now."

do you bake a lot? i love trying out new recipes. i'm still up in the air about what i'm making for thanksgiving. it's between chocolate pumpkin pie or classic pumpkin pie. are you cooking at all?

hope you had a nice/not-too-cold weekend!!

You have really pretty ornaments! I have to work on my collection.

How cool that you're half Japanese! No wonder you love sushi. :) One of my dearest friends is Japanese-American. Darn woman had to move back to CA; how I miss her!

You have beautiful decorative pieces indeed. I am sort of dreading decorating this year and I'm so worried I won't get all my Christmas shopping done. Anyway, I love the food network and sushi too!!!
Hope you had a great Thanks giving!
