Show and Tell Friday!

It's Show and Tell Friday hosted by our sweet and and talented Kelli over at There's No Place Like Home.

Today I thought I would make it short and sweet. I have started drawing and painting a bit and thought I would show you a few of my sketches I haven't yet painted. I must apologize for the poor quality pictures!

This first sketch actually derived from a real picture of a toad. I added the balloon and flowers to make it a little more whimsical and fun. :) This little guy is waiting for his princess to come along. :)

The next one is my sister's dog Max. I also drew this from a photo. I've been telling her I am going to paint him soon but life keeps happening! :) I'm getting to it sis!

And last but not least, my mermaid and seals. This one is on canvas so she may be a little hard to see. Sorry for the poor quality!

So what do you have for Show and Tell today?

Happy Friday!

Nice pictures that you have sketched- that painting with the mermaid with seals will definitely add some perspective to any room and make for interesting conversation when guests come over!

Oh, I love the new look of your blog!!

That's so awesome that you've begun to do art! The frog is irresistible; I'd kiss him! ;)

I don't have anything special for show and tell, but I did manage a post yesterday. :)

You've got a great talent there. I bet you would LOVE the free art program ArtRage - really! Its a FREE program - my husband taught it to all the gifted kids in the district last year. Its not as easy with a mouse, but if you get a pen tablet (and they are like under $100) you can do all your artwork right on your computer!

you can check it out and download it at www.artrage.com

Those are very good. I always admire people who can draw well. I can't draw a stick figure.

Great! Keep up the good work. I can't even draw stick people...okay a little bit, but even they are crooked!
Your sister's dog looks a lot like my littlest furbaby. :0)
Have a great day!

Some people are gifted in the arts and you are one of them. I base that on the fact that I can't draw at all. Period. Keep going and post some more :)
