Visit with Sis and Niece...and Stella's Night Out!

I've really put this off for too long! My sister is posting a few pictures on her site too..but they're different ones. :) Here are a few pictures of visit with sis and niece. The highlight, high tea at Myrtles Tea House.

Me and sis at tea....look at how much paler I am than her. Man, I need some sun!

Isn't my sis beautiful?
Isn't this plate beautiful? It's just as yummy as it is beautiful!

Yummy desserts. The scone is my favorite!

Paris found a best friend....look at that sweet smile...

We had such a great time laying around my place, cozying up by the fire, catching up. We had dinner with Jim and his girls Friday night. Dumb me forgot to take pictures of that evening as well. We also went to an antique show that was in town and I ran into a fellow blogger if you can believe it! I recognized her from her blog (her blog is Queen of Tart and Barnhouse)!

STELLA'S NIGHT OUT!

Now for Stella's night out. First of all, I want you all to know I slaved over making her toile dress. She wanted to look special for the evening. :)

She was the first to read the menu at our table....

She decided on onion rings....

And some iced tea....

My girlfriend, Susan offered her a sip of wine for her big night out. She got a tad tipsy after one sip. Lol! So, we decided to put her back on iced tea.

All in all it was a wonderful evening. My friends asked so many questions! Does Stella like this, does Stella like that? Where has Stella been already? I brought her passport to show them and they got just as excited about Stella's travels! They'll be watching too!

Until tomorrow....sweet candy heart dreams. :)

You and your sister are absolutely beautiful! I think Stella could show me a good time. heehee

I have a question, the dream home you show on your side bar, is that from Practical Magic? If it is I did a post on that same how. I love it. Too big for moi to clean, but I love it. It must come with the ocean behind it too though!

Hi Michelle
You, your sister and your niece are all really beautiful. I love Stella's new toile dress. She looks to have had a great night out with you and your friends. I hope she let you eat something and didn't eat everything herself! I can see she will be sad to leave Oregon.
Have a great weekend.

Hi Michelle,
Looks like lots of fun (especially for Stella!). You and your sister look to be having tons of fun together... and don't get some sun, keep your skin nice! Okay, end of that rant ;)

Yes, I showed my cats on the blog... I figured Zeke had hammed it up long enough!

You are pretty too, Michelle! I have always thought that I would have liked a sister-- I am the only girl out of 3 older brothers. Oh well, I've learned a lot from them.

It is January - no worries about thinking you look pale, besides you two could be twins :)
I'll feel ur pain about being pale come summer. Till then no worries!

I loved seeing the pictures of you and your sister. Stella's dress looks fabulous! What a great girl's night out!

I'm pale these days too, so don't feel bad. But in all honesty you don't look that pale.
The last time I had afternoon tea I was in bermuda where it's religion, and it was sooo much fun.

You sister, niece and you are very beautiful. Lucky genes! My daughter had a friend in grade school who was half Japanese and American and she had Blonde hair and Blue eyes and strong Japanese features. She was the most beautiful girl. I still think of her.

What fun for Stella! That dress turned out great. You have definitely showed her a great time! I agree with Tracie about not too much sun. It will keep you young looking longer. I really have people fooled as to how old I am and when people find out, their first comment is how smooth my skin still looks. Yay!
