I didn't get everything I wanted to get accomplished this evening because I always promise myself I'm going to redecorate the world in one night and just do one thing. Lol! Oh well, it's good to set high goals, right? So, I didn't get the painting I wanted to get done but I did get this done!
Before, Pier 1 dining room table chairs in shades of neutral and brown....
After, Michelle's touch...spruced up with a little toile! Whaddaya think?
And a few new friends at the shelter today. Just had to share. :)
Thumper! Okay I named her that but she is the sweetest thing ever! All she wanted was to be petted.
Oscar is the resident cat (the owner's cat actually). Um, he might need to visit Jenny Craig but what a lover he is!

Thank you so much for your help in finding these sweeties homes and taking care of them until they do find a forever home.

First up, I love the Chair! Is toile just not the best pattern out there. You did a fabulous job. The fur babies....Oscar looks part siamese. He is just so handsome. My siamese, Mr Ming, weighs 13 pounds...a big boy, just like Oscar. You are to be commended for the time you volunteer for te defenseless. Hugs, Kathleen
I love what you did with the chair. The animals are cute. Oscar just has big bones ;-)
Wow Michelle, your chair turned out great! Good work sis! I love it:)
awwwwww! so cute! so freaking adorable! AAAAHHH!! I love the bunnies' little pink noses...and the furry paws of the cute kitties...
but I had a friend who had a pet cat and a pet bunny in the same house, and one day the cat actually ate the bunny...ok, sorry, I'm being morbid. but just a note that bunnies and cats shouldn't be in the same house together!
your chair, and your animal friends are just adorable!!
I hope they all find great homes..I would take the chair, if she needs a home..he he.
Thank you for helping these poor orphans out!! I've got the softest spot for all fur kids!!

The chair turned out great, Michelle. I love the bunny! when I was a kids, we had lots of rabbits for pets; regular white bunnies, and Blue Dutch'. One white bunny would go to sleep if I held it in my arms like a baby. I also had an all black rabbit (weighed 10 pounds) and a black and white one like in your photo--the dog got ahold of him--ooops! No more Mr.Bunny. Thanks for you comment on my blog.
the chair looks great! love the new fabric. that cat is so fat, lol! - love fat cats, lol!
Little Oscar looks like he's so soft and fluffy! Those poor kitties! I'd take them if I wasn't violently allergic!
Oh what sweeties- I am sure you gave them some much needed TLC. I love the toile- very pretty! Have a wonderful day!

Love that closeup of Thumper. You're doing the animals so much good when you volunteer at that shelter.
Love the toile, it looks great.
I love bunnies---sweet little lover cats too---now not too much on the lover part for the one little philly. OK, now I've been wanting to do this with my chairs....I have this dirty ole plaid set and really love the toile....one of my favorite things. Now you've inspired me....yet again :) xo
I like how your chair turned out. Much better than boring like it was the other way. Isn't that the same fabric you used to make a dress for Stitching Stella?
