Just a few quilting fabric ideas because I couldn't wait to start looking!
Okay, so I have NO idea how to quilt or piece together the fabric but I'm so excited about choosing the fabric! That's the fun part, right? Here are a few patterns I am seriously thinking of purchasing for my first quilt.
Oh the second one is my favorite! There is a quilting store right by my house they have really nice stuff I only been in there once but they have some really nice display.
I think that I'd have a difficult time picking from what you've shown... I'm a Rooster~Lover, so that is a good choice... for when you make my quilt... ~chuckles~ ... They're all so Darling, but if I had to pick just one... Hmmmmm... how about the first one, with the yellow 'n white background and cherries?!
Thanks for the kind words about my lil Cocoa and her chocolate eating episode... Scared me, for sure, but I'm so happy to let you know that she is doing very well ♥ She had a good night and a good day... Of course, I could not Love on her enough!!
I'm looking forward to finding out what you end up getting for the quilt... Please give your fur-babies some Lovin' from me ♥ ... Hope those evil hormones take a hike! God bless...
AWWWWWWWW I like Quilts, I make a lot. I like the cherry, its so frendly. So you are a long time busy.. LOL Its takes a lot of time to make a quilt..but you have ideas enough :)
I love red and white and black.. I love the cherries and the advertising and polka dots.. Okay, I like them all!! Great choices. Part of quilting is having an eye for color..you have the EYE!!
Michelle, I have always loved a "cherry" motif. Your great choices are almost enough to make me want to quilt. But, I just do not have the patience. Hugs, Kathleen
Well... they are all really nice, are the Mary Engilbright(?) fabrics, they look like her style...anyway, glad you did not post food this time.....you little brat!!!AHHAHAHA, talk soon!!
Michelle, You emailed me after a comment on the Farm Chicks blog and I never saw the comment. They are always emailed to me but yours wasn't. Anyway, please accept my sincere apology for the belated response. We'd still love to do a silhouette of your cat(s) and could put them on any of our products. You can reach me at Angela@simplysilhouettes.com. Thanks!
I like them all... I'm not a quilter though. I have done a couple of small projects over the years... none which have survive my children.
If you didn't want to make a big quilt you could quilt a lap quilt or some chair pads for your kitchen chairs. A big tote bag would be nice too. I think hand quilting looks the best but if the sewing machine does nice stitching then machine quilting can look nice.

PIES!! You need a QUILT about PIES! (falls over in faint.)
I love the cherries- so bright and cheerful- kind of Mary E and vintage. How fun!!! I'm feeling the smae way with cross stitching right now. Enjoy!

I look forward to seeing what you choose.
I love all the fabrics, any combination of those would make a great quilt.
What great fabrics. I've never really quilted but these fabrics make me want to.
They look like a lovely choice! A friend of ours does quilts and there are some fine pictures on her bloggie: http://quiltcatmews.blogspot.com/
I just found your blog and when I saw the Cherry Fabrics I was hooked. Love them all, beautiful blog, come by for a visit when you can. Cindy
