Shabby Chic Shelf Compliments of Craigslist

And only $20.00. Sorry for the dark picture. This gal had the most ADORABLE shabby chic home. She said she was going to have a garage sale of all her shabby chic decor because they were downsizing. I told her she MUST email me and let me know when it is going to be so I could camp out on her lawn the night before. She laughed at me like I was crazy. I know you guys know I'm serious. :)

I was craving asparagus tonight for some reason so I made a whole "bunch" for me and me alone! Simply wash, drizzle with olive oil and salt and pepper (sometimes I'll even sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top). Cook at 400 degrees until it's done the way you like 'em! Overcook the asparagus a little and I am in Heaven.

Emma update: She has taken over Mocha's bed, Quincy's bed and is strutting her stuff. I caught Quincy and Emma laying on the bed together. Then a few minutes later Quincy was chasing her showing her who was boss. I think he was pretending to show his macho-ness because I caught them laying next to each other acting like they were friends. :)

The shelf was a great deal and so adorably shabby chic! I would be pitching a tent on her lawn too. Hey, you bring the graham crackers...I'll bring the chocolate and marshmallows. We can have S'mores while we're camped out, lol!

Sweet Wishes,
Sara

Asparagus with us on this time of the year is not for sale.
It is one of my favorite dishes.
Where I live is a lot of asparagus grown but only in the summer.
We call asparagus "white gold" because they are in our country very expensive.

I'm sure Quincy and Emma are very good friends :)))))))))))
hugs from Kareltje for MOCHA QUINCY and EMMA (@^.^@)

At least they're not trying to kill each other. Queen Bitty is going to pitch a fit when Ace the Dog gets here later with Ben's folks. I'm not going to sleep for four days...

I am fading due to a lack of yard sales, garage sales, and flea markets. Can I come with you, too? If spring would just pop it's head, I would feel so much better. Love your blog design! Hugs, Kathleen

Neat shelf.

LOL... on Quincy :-)

Frank surprised me the other day and said something about getting a cat... but he just hates litter boxes. He had a fever so I think the fever was doing the talking. A dog maybe in few years or until one finds us.

Oooo- I want to go to the garage sale too! I love Shabby Chic! And Craigslist is the best- we bought our boat from it! Great news on the cats- don't you love how they all just manage to find their places and co-exist?

You find some of the best (and cutest) deals!

I cannot wait for our asparagus to poke out! It's my fav spring veggie!! Your method is so easy and sounds so good, we'll have to try it.

Glad to hear Emma is getting adjusted to her new home and companions, and vice versa!
