Tuesdays at the Table! Chocolate Chip Sour Cream Banana Bread

Hi everyone! It's Tuesdays at the Table brought to you by Andrea at My Chihuahua Bites! If you want to show off anything related to food (that's about every other post for me) then join in and head on over to her place now!

After a long day at work and and working overtime, I decided I needed this. Oh and this post is also dedicated to Chrissy over at Apothecary Shop because she loves it when I post yummy desserts. ;) Chrissy maybe you should head over to Andrea's place. You can get your fill of foody goodness for at least a good month! Lol!

And when the comforting smell of baked banana bread fills my home, the cats get very relaxed....

Chocolate Chip Sour Cream Banana Bread (could I add anymore words to this?)

Ingredients

1/2 cup margarine or butter
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup mashed banana
1/2 cup chopped nuts (omit if you don't like nuts)
1/2 cup sour cream
1 12 oz. bag chocolate chips

Directions:

1. Grease 1 large loaf pan.
2. Cream margarine, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
3. Add dry ingredients, then bananas, nuts and sour cream.
4. Mix in chocolate chips and/or nuts
5. Mix well.
6. Bake at 350 F for 1 hour.

Note: I doubled this recipe to make more than one loaf.

Wow...it looks so easy to make and sounds so very tasty (anything with choc chip is tasty)! :)

I'm back home now, so will be visiting regularly again! Smooches for you and your kitties, esp Quincy (it's ok to play favorites as long as the other ones don't know...LOL!).

Hi Michelle-

My name is Jennifer MacIsaac and I work for the company Powderhouse Productions- we produce the TV show CATS 101 on Animal Planet!

We are going to be featuring the Selkirk Rex breed on an upcoming segment of our show and are looking for a human interest story about the breed to highlight. We're hoping to find a Selkirk doing something unique or different and a great way to track down cool cats is through blogs!!

I would love to chat with you more about your cats- please feel free to e-mail me at jmacisaac@powderhouse.net and I can give you a little bit more info about what we're looking for!

you can check out our website at www.powderhouse.net for more info about our company or http://animal.discovery.com/tv/cats-101/ for more info about our show.
