Lazy Sunday, a gift from a sweet friend and another award!

I fixed myself a nice breakfast...then I worked on the big wall this morning. Here is what it looks like so far!

More sweet Easter decorations. marshmallow sheep and chocolate bunnies....

Sweet starfish....

A comfy bed for Princess Mocha on the chaise. She's right by the fire all warm and cozy.

Quincy is on his own bed looking like a king as usual.

Emma is out and about and checking things out and already getting comfy!

My wonderful blogging friend Sonia here in Oregon (Ashland) from A Little Dash of this, A Little Dash of That sent me a few gifts she brought back from her trip to Hawaii. She saw how much fun I had with Stella that she thought she'd bring me another friend. :) Hula Girl!

And knowing how much I love pinups got me this! I'm going to frame her. :)

THANK YOU, SONIA!! I love them! Checkout her blog. She is like my local food critic!

Also! Amy over at Artichokes and Lemonade (a newly found blog for me) gave me the Friends Award. Thank you so much, Amy!! That is sooooo sweet. Swing on over to her blog also. She's a great cook! I love the title of her blog. :)

Well I think I will bake or make something today. I'm going to help a good friend of mine put together a piece of furniture later this evening. I'll bring her something yummy as a gift. :)

Also, I am working with a friend (who is a great graphics artist) on doing a new and permanent header. Look for that soon!

Happy Sunday all!

I love what you are doing with that wall. I like the starfish too. We just got back from Florida and I brought back a lot of beachy stuff. I'm going to redo the guest room in a beachy theme. Pastel aquas and pinks. I have tons of shells and a couple of starfish that will go in a big shell jar.

I've strolled into your charming blog for my first visit. I A-D-O-R-E your kitties post. My kitty has been known to post at my blog. She's always posing for the Purr-fect Kitten shot.

I would imagine it was quite an undertaking arranging and hanging
the window wall vignette. It adds a lovely cottage look.
I've enjoyed my visit,I'd like to come by again.

Sweet Wishes
Sara

Hi Michelle! Stopped by to say "HI!" and I see that your blog has a beautiful new look! Love it! And I LOVE that window wall!! What a fabulous idea!! One of the folks on craigslist had a bunch of them for free a while back. I really thought about driving the 50 miles to get them..but then thought "what am I gonna do with them?" I never even thought of doing a wall filled with them! But they look so perfect at your place! Quincy and Mocha look sooo contented and huggable! Give them some luvs for me K? Very cute little hula girl! Love Vanna
